CyGenica, a pre-clinical, seed stage start-up, solving the most crucial issue of intracellular delivery. We aim to transform the cancer drugs from poison to remedy by delivering those to the target site and thereby reducing the dose and side effects.
For this purpose we have developed GEENIE, a novel molecular nano needle that revolutionizes how drugs enter target cell. It is not a new drug but it is a new molecular tool that makes cancer drugs safer and better. It tunnels through the cell membrane by a unique non endocytic cell entry mechanism and can deliver any drug (be it chemotherapy, radiotherapy or genome editing therapeutics) to any cell.
